FABRIZIO GAJARDONI
Fabrizio is one of the featured fly tyers in the recently released
(2008) "Flytyers of the World" Vol. 1, published
by VEM Publishing.
Fly fisher since 1982, Fabrizio Gajardoni was born and lives in
Rimini (Italy).
From the beginning he took a great interest in fly tying; through the years
he developed his skills, tying more and more difficult and unusual flies and
reaching the top with Atlantic Salmon Flies.
In the past few years he took part in "Mustad Scandinavian Open Fly tying
Competition" winning the challenge "Open" in 1997 and the challenge "Dry
Flies" in 2001.
His production goes from fishing flies to 'fully dressed' ones, from
Terrestrials to Bugs, to personally dressed and unusual flies.
Visiting his website's pages, you can find a series of typical 'collection'
flies, amongst which are some wonderful ones, tied with the utmost care for
detail, with the specific purpose of fishing.
He contributes to the prestigious American magazine "Art of Angling
Journal", dedicated to the best flies, tackle and fishing.
