I suppose the best way to describe Steve is that he is a fly tying/fly fishing entrepreneur.

Author, professional photographer, and a highly innovative Master fly tyer specialising in simplistic realistic flies. Steve is also the man behind the British Spring fly fishing fair you can safely say he simply loves life.  Steve’s first books were “Listen to the River” volumes 1 and 2, which give detailed tying instructions for the flies featured on his fly page on this site.  To date Steve’s most noted work is without question, “Flytyers of the World”, a five volume production featuring 100 of the world best known fly tyers.
